Both groups had their vascular tone return to normal, showing that taking vitamin C is just as effective as the exercise.

Having a poor vascular tone can lead to an increase in a number of health issues, such as inflammation and an increased risk of stroke. If you are unable to engage in physical exercise, the study shows that you could at least begin taking vitamin C for some health benefits.
